There are many different reasoThere are many different reasons why a person would be interested in Yorkie puppies for sale or adoption. Some people just want a companion and they find these smaller breeds of dogs to be perfect.

They can take very good care of them and get plenty of love and loyalty in return. Regardless of where you get the puppy from, it is a huge commitment that you need to be ready to make.

There are some pros and cons to both buying these dogs and getting one that is for adoption. Evaluating these points is a great place to start so you can be well informed.

You need reliable and accurate information so that you can make a good decision about getting the puppy you want.

When you buy one from a pet store or a breeder you can be sure you are getting a quality dog. Most of them have papers that show who the parents are so you can be confident of the lineage.

This is very important if you plan to breed the dogs yourself or you want to enter them in various dog shows.

However, you should be prepared to pay a great deal of money to get them as well. For some individuals the cost of a Yorkshire terrier is no object. For others though, they simply can't budget for something so costly with the price of basic necessities in our society continually increasing.

You will also have some type of warranty in many instances when you buy your dog from such locations. While dog rescues do look them over and give a medical evaluation, you won't be getting any type of warranty.

When you leave a rescue with the puppy you are taking a chance that it may end up with some issues down the road.

In some instances the puppy even dies and in that situation you wouldn’t get a refund from a dog rescue centre. However, the fees involved for the adoption of the puppy would be significantly less.

So if this is the breed of dog you really want you may need to go to one of the dog rescues in order to be able to afford to do so.

The location of places with puppies for sale/adoption is something you need to consider as well. Just about every decent sized town has a pet store and many breeders will deliver the dogs so they can make money.

You may not have a dog rescue anywhere close to where you live. That can make it hard to adopt one from such a location. You can go online though to find out where the pet stores, breeders, and rescue centers are in your area.

There may also be policies in place at rescue centres that make it hard to adopt a Yorkie. For example if you have a busy lifestyle or you haven't had a pet before they may deny your application. This is because these dogs require a lot of care, and they can't be confident that the dog will be well cared for in your environment.

There is also the possibility that a dog rescue centre may need to put down some of the pups if they aren't adopted by a certain date. While every effort is made to prevent this from happening, most of them can't afford to keep the puppies fed and sheltered indefinitely.

Once you have decided that a Yorkie is the right dog for you, there will certainly be a number of options available to get puppies for sale or adoption. However, weighing the pros and cons of each one and how they apply to your circumstances is very important.

Knowing what you are looking for in advance can help you to make a decision that you are very happy with.
